一、词汇

词汇覆盖依纲,与2010年考点持平。试卷对所有词汇的考查全部依照2011年《考试大纲补充说明》的词汇表,湖北省对英语(论坛)科《2011年普通高等学校招生全国统一考试大纲补充说明》所附词汇表进行了补充调整,共收单词3193个。2010年考题,10道题中,一改往年考查动词及动词短语为主,动词短语只考查了1道题,但考查了3道形容词题。2011年延续了2010年的出题特点,形容词副词今年考察了4道题分别是21题、23题、24题、25题。在日常的语言运用中,具有描绘性质的形容词和副词使用频率是很高的,如今年出现的beneficial、 formal、 avoidable。 这一风格已经延续两年,所以在来年备考时,值得重视。其他考点分别为动词三道 26题、27题、28题;词组题两道29题、30题;名词一道 22题。

二、完形填空、阅读理解

三、语法、写作

2011年英语湖北卷在题量、内容和形式与2010年湖北卷基本持平。

主要体现在“书面表达”部分的““完成句子”和“短文写作”两道大题。“完成句子” 考察的是对语法结构的掌握,涉及语法知识系统、全面,并且通过总结发现其考点有一定的承前性。这里的承前性指的是考点一致原则,2010年71. Only if people all…Only位于句首引起的部分倒装句. 2011年71. Not until two days after the earthquake ____(她发现) her mother alive. (find) 此题考察的是not until 引起的部分倒装及时态的混合考点。10年 72题,Painted red /Having been painted red分词短语作状语,考点与11年74题 Holding the keys in the hand 是一致的。不同的是今年语法考点中突出了对句子结构的分析,如80题, _____ (比较这两把牙刷) and you’ll find the purple one is softer. (compare). 考生很容易误以为该题为非谓语的考察,其实不然,因为句中出现了and这个连接词,句子变成复杂句,两句之间必须是独立的简单句,故应该是动词原形位于句首的祈使句形式出现, compare the/ these two toothbrushes 为正确答案。此句型考点曾出现在07年北京卷 24题,所以备考学生复习的时候,不妨找一些其他城市历年语法真题来加强训练。

“短文写作”自2010年起一改以往给出具体内容、要点,或者表格、图示提示等命题方法,2011年将此风格延续。今年要求考生根据英文短文提示,结合具体事例,写一篇有关“合作”的短文。这样的命题方式其实考察学生两方面的写作能力,既要对描述性质的记叙文有很好的运用,同时仍然需要在文章最后议论部分,展现考生的通过英文进行说理的能力。这样的作文对于考生来说应该是收益的,因为不论基础如何考生都能根据自身实力写作,但是如果想要拿高分,那么记叙文、议论文都要掌握良好。

高考英语作文写作技巧

审题。

拿到题目后,手中拿铅笔,手脑眼嘴并用,开始审题。看题目的要求是什么,要点是什么,特殊要求是什么。譬如你是叫李华,还是随便一个名字?要议论文还是记叙文?对分几段写有无要求?等等。诸如此类的硬性要求信息,都最好用铅笔划下来,以免出错,也许你一开始会记得,可随着时间的流逝,你会不会因紧张而遗忘这些信息呢?还是小心为妙。边看最好边张嘴默读,这样就不会遗漏或忽略任何一个字了。

草稿。

通过笔者的观察,此次词汇题的难度和笔者所教授的新概念英语第二册难度相当,并且很多知识点,比如21题,22题,23题,25题的词汇,27题, 29题, 30题的短语和句型都是咱们新概念二册课堂上讲过的重点。其实,一本好的教材需要的不仅仅是大家的阅读,更重要的是 要从中提炼出有用的语言点,反复咀嚼,消化,以达到运用自如的效果为最终目的。
